The purpose of education in the
Thousand Islands High School is to provide learning opportunities for each
individual student that will enable him/her to fully develop into a happy
and mature adult who is capable of functioning effectively as an individual
as well as a contributing member of a democratic society in a changing
world. These learning opportunities should encourage the development
of the attitudes, skills, and knowledge which are needed by the individual
student to satisfy his/her purpose. Thus, the Thousand Islands High
School, in cooperation with the home and community, will provide a high
quality education which will best promote the growth, development, and
well-being of the whole child.
