Halloween is Approaching!

October 24, 2008

Dear Parents,

Next Friday will be our Halloween celebration. The students will begin getting their costumes on at 1:00.  At 1:45 the annual Halloween parade will be held outside, or inside, depending on the weather.  Our classroom parties will immediately begin after the  parade. We hope to see you all at the parade!

To those of you that may not know, one of our custodians, Cris Derouin, is currently serving in Iraq.  He has written to ask us if we could gather items to send to the troops. Therefore we are asking if you could please send in some of the following items:

· Candy (no chocolate please)

· Gum

· Crackers ( cheese and crackers or peanut butter crackers)

· Crossword puzzles, Mad Libs

· Hand sanitizer

· Pre-packaged nuts

· Magazines ( mechanical and sports if possible)

· Foot powder

· Paperback books

We would appreciate any items that you can send in.!  Have a great weekend and hopefully we will see you next week!

IMPORTANT! We would like to ask all parents that have not  scheduled a conference time to please contact us so we can coordinate  a time to meet.  Again, Parent Teacher conferences will be held November 24th and 25th.  Time slots are quickly filling up, so please contact us as soon as possible!
