Greetings from Mrs. Beattie and Mrs. Countryman!
We hope everyone is having an excellent summer! Mrs. Countryman and Mrs. Beattie are looking forward to meeting you and working with you in 2nd grade. We are going to have a lot of fun this year and learn so many things!
Mrs. Beattie and Mrs. Countryman will be working closely together throughout the school year. Our students will also have many opportunities to work with their fellow students in both classrooms. Over the course of the school year, Mrs. Beattie and Mrs. Countryman will be planning the curriculum together. Therefore, our students will be collaborating together as well! We have found that students benefit and enjoy working with and learning with many of their peers. We are very excited about having another year to work together and to have our students work together.
We are looking forward to meeting all of you at Open House on Wednesday, September 1st from 5:30-6:30. Please bring all school supplies in on this day! If you have any questions or concerns throughout the year, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher.
****On the first day of school, please have your child bring in three items from home that will help describe what kind of person he or she is. Things can be put in to help explain what your child likes to do, eat, wear, etc. Your child will share their items with the rest of the class so we can learn some fun things about each other!
