Dear Parents,

This week we made the big jump-we began matching uppercase letters to lowercase letters!  We will continue this into next week.  If you could work on this with your child at home, it would be very beneficial. 

In math, we learned about pictographs and bar graphs.  We made horizontal and vertical graphs.  The kids are really enjoying this.  Ask you child to tell you one thing we graphed in class this week.

Next Friday is Fire Prevention Day.  Please have your child wear red to school to acknowledge this.

Enclosed is a book order for the month of October.  If you are interested in ordering, you may make your check out to Scholastic.  Please do not send cash.  All book orders are due by next Friday, October 10th.  Have a super weekend!
