Dear Parents,

Our field trip to Old McDonald’s Family Farm in Sackets Harbor was most  successful.  The children were very well behaved. Thank you to Mr. Palm, father of  Stefania, who went with us. 

Next week we will observe Fire Prevention Week here at our school.  Students will meet our volunteer fire fighters from Clayton, Depauville and Fishers Landing and view their equipment on Friday, October 10. This will be a very informative day for our children.

We will have a Halloween Parade here at school on Friday, October 31 at 1:45 pm. Parents and friends are welcome to attend the parade which will be outside, weather permitting, or in the auditorium, if it is raining.

Your child should bring his/her Halloween costume to school in his/her backpack on Oct. 31.  After lunch that day, the children will put on their costumes.  Please remember that no toy weapons are permitted in school.  Students should not plan to put on make-up or hair color in school. Mrs. Sue Locke, our room mother, will contact classroom parents to send in refreshments to enjoy after the parade.

When you send LUNCH MONEY with your child, please be sure you send the exact amount in a white paper envelope labeled with your child’s name, the amount and the days s/he is buying. 

Keep up the good work reading and returning the library and take home books.
