Dear Student, 

There’s a rumble in the jungle,

There’s a whisper in the trees,

The animals are waking up

And rustling the leaves.

Some animals are frightening,

And some are sweet and kind,

So when you come to school,

We’ll see what you can find…

Our safari through the Kindergarten Jungle will begin on Tuesday, September 8th.  As we travel through the jungle we will be having lots of fun and learning many new skills. To begin our safari adventure you will need to bring with you the following supplies:  

• 1 backpack
• 1 plastic pencil box
• 1 box of 24 crayons
• 1 art smock (a big, old t-shirt works best)
• 1 box of tissue
• 1 water bottle
• Any donations of large zip lock bags, paper plates, cups, napkins, or paper towels would be great
• Sneakers to keep at school but not necessary

The cost of lunch is $1.75.  Please send in money for the week on Monday’s if possible.

I can already hear the Rumble in the Jungle…I wonder what we’ll find?
