Student Attire

Parents what your child wears on P.E. day is important!
(Remember your child will be participating in the clothing they wear to school.)
Your child's safety and comfort depends on what they wear.
1. Sneakers are required to ensure proper traction. Slip on sneakers (no heel), jellies, leather bottom shoes, or snow boots are not appropriate for phys. ed.
2. A t-shirt under a sweater or sweatshirt will allow your child to take off the outer garment to stop from being over-heated in during class.
3. Old sneakers, sweatshirts and/or jackets should be worn for outdoor class periods.
4. No jewelry is allowed to be worn during phys. ed. class (a storage box for these items is available for use by students).
5. Long hair should be tied back if possible.
Note: In the winter, our lower gymnasium at times can be uncomfortably cold before students warm up through activity. Layering with a warmer garment an a lighter garment under will ensure your child's comfort.
