Fourth Grade students and if your Fifth Grade
student needs to purchase a recorder, they have been given a sheet as
well. The Fifth Grade has started working
toward their white belt in the Recorder Karate Course…the first few belts
will go quickly for them and then they will have to spend some time
practicing for belts further in the program. The Fourth Grade will start recorders in
a couple of months. Please get the
orders in so that we can purchase them in time. The Third Grade has been working on
several new patriotic songs and this week, they are learning about The Golden
Rule. You may want to see if they can
tell you what it is. The Second Grade is moving and singing
about a captain that was a duck. They
are also getting ready to play the xylophones and glockenspiels. The First Grade is working on steady
beat and playing hand drums. Have your
first grader show you Kindergarten is working on moving to the
steady beat. They move around the room
to the steady beat, they paly the steady beat on
the hand drums and they play the steady beat with rhythm sticks. Ask them to share the Johnny Works with One
Hammer song.
