       Design Concept presented in verbal or written format

       Design Brief (viability, justification)

       Plans: floor (spatial layout), plot (land topography, easements, setbacks, ingress/egress), landscape (plant material & watering system location), foundation, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, truss

       Elevations, sections, and details

       Perspectives: exterior and interior

       3D model

       Budget/ projected costs 

       Specifications manual, schedules

       Research citations

 

Oral Presentation Suggested Outline:

·        Introduction of team members

·        Project overview and description of  some of the team’s original ideas

·        Describe team process used to finalize your design

·        Describe successes and challenges your team encountered

·        Tell how challenges were solved

·        Explanation of the choices of color, shape, size, materials, etcetera. Include results of research and mathematical calculations, such as those in Unit 5 – Activity 5.3.1 Heat Loss and Gain.

·        Show the final product

·        Demonstrate parts of the project, if necessary

·        Explain why your team’s solution is viable

·        Suggest improvements/changes you would make now

·        Summary and conclusion

·        Question and answer

·        Thank the audience and jurors
