Secondary Vocal / Classroom Music Vacancy Tenure track secondary vocal and classroom music opening.

The District seeks candidates with experience in piano, guitar, and general music theory. Applicants should have knowledge of vocal and choral techniques along with being able to capably demonstrate/model vocal performance and prepare NYSSMA solo students for adjudication. Additionally, applicants should be willing to support colleagues across the District with accompanying and supporting ensemble preparations, and have a desire to assist with the annual Musical, Select Ensembles, and other extracurricular activities. The successful candidate must be strong in written and verbal communication, Google Suite, and music software that enhances student learning experience. While additional certifications are not required, preference may be given to those with more than one certification or an additional concentration.

Spanish Teacher Vacancy Tenure track secondary Spanish vacancy

While multiple/dual certifications are not required, preference may be given to those with course work, concentration, or certifications including, but not limited to, Special Education, French, Reading, English as a new Language, etc. Applicants must be passionate about teaching and learning language at all levels from exploratory to 200 level college courses, familiar with Google Suite, have knowledge of software programs that enhance the learning of a new language, and a commitment to lifelong learning. The teacher will support both Resource Room and AIS students as well as other Special Education needs in the District. Secondary English Teacher

Anticipated opening for full-time probationary tenure track The District seeks candidates with multiple certifications, course work in special education, and/or a 5-8 extension. Applicants should have knowledge of and experience with Google Suite, software programs that enhance learning for all, and strategies to support students needing academic intervention. The committee seeks individuals who are lifelong learners excited to work with students of all abilities, support extracurricular activities, and/or coach interscholastic teams. Anticipated start date of 9/1/2022.


Thousand Islands CSD is accepting applications for a Building Maintenance Mechanic. Applicant must have experience and knowledge in the maintenance and repair of public facilities and equipment and building mechanical systems – boiler maintenance a plus.
